How to charge the electric forklift correctly?

The main power source of the electric forklift is the storage battery. The operation of transportation, loading and unloading, handling, stacking and other operations are realized through the power supply of the storage battery. 1. Before charging, read the instructions carefully. Each manufacturer has different requirements for charging the battery of electric forklift, and charge the battery in strict accordance with the instructions.

2. Before charging, hold the plug by hand, remember not to pull the cable by hand, disconnect the cable between the battery and the forklift, and then open the battery box cover to keep the battery in a good ventilation state during charging, which is conducive to the smooth discharge of combustible gas generated during charging. It should be noted that the charging should be carried out outdoors as much as possible. If it is necessary to charge in the indoor charging room, an exhaust fan should be installed.

3. During the battery charging process, the electrolyte density shall be checked regularly to ensure that the electrolyte density at the end of discharge is ≥ 1.130g/ml, otherwise it indicates that the discharge depth of the battery is more than 80%, that is, the over-discharge point, which is easy to affect the battery life, and the hidden dangers shall be checked regularly to eliminate. It should be noted that the temperature of the battery electrolyte should be less than 45 ℃. If it exceeds the temperature, it should be cooled first, and then the subsequent charging operation should be carried out.

4. During the process of charging the battery, keep the cover of the battery filler plug closed, and close it in time if it is not closed.

5. During the charging process, ensure that the cable connection plug between the battery and the charger is connected in place. For the battery that has been equipped with automatic liquid filling system, ensure that the water pipe is well connected.

6. After the above five points are ready, close the charging switch of the charger and start charging.
